Do Mag’d Kits require sewing or gluing to install?
No. Mag’d Kits feature a precision-fit Velcro backing that attaches directly to your headcover’s existing Velcro. No sewing, adhesives, or tools are required.
Are Mag’d Kits permanent?
No. Mag’d Kits are fully removable and do not permanently modify your headcover. They can be installed or removed at any time without damage.
Will Mag’d Blade/Mid-Mallet Kits fit my headcover?
Mag’d Blade/Mid-Mallet Kits measure 3.5” × 1.5”, which matches the standard Velcro closure size used on Scotty Cameron, Bettinardi, and most similar blade and mid-mallet headcovers.
Does Mag’d add bulk to the headcover?
No. Mag’d is engineered to integrate seamlessly into the existing closure, maintaining the original profile and feel of your headcover.
How strong are the magnets?
Mag’d Kits use carefully selected magnets designed to provide a secure closure while still allowing smooth, reliable one-handed operation.
Will Mag’d work with worn Velcro?
Yes. Mag’d Kits have been tested across a wide range of Velcro wear conditions and maintain secure attachment in typical used headcovers.
Will the magnets interfere with my putter, including carbon putters?
No. The magnets are oriented toward the bottom of the closure, allowing the putter head to move freely in and out without interference or contact.
What colors are Mag’d Kits available in?
Mag’d Kits are currently available in Black, White, and Light Grey.
Can I request Mag’d Kits for other headcover types?
